Natasha Curham
BSpPath (Hons), CPSP
Natasha graduated as a speech pathologist from Latrobe University in 2004 with first class Honours (having undertaken her Honours’ project investigating voice in Parkinson’s Disease). She has over 20 years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist in the acute, sub-acute and rehabilitation settings and has always maintained a strong interest and expertise in voice and laryngology. Natasha first worked for Voice Medicine Australia in 2006 for a few years then worked in London, Glasgow and more recently Wellington, NZ, where she was the Professional Leader of the Speech Language Therapy team at Wellington Hospital.
We have maintained a strong professional connection with Natasha and she continued to provide online consultations for VMA clientele across the years even when out of the country. We are thrilled she returned to Australia in 2019 to re-join our clinical team in person, as one of our highly experienced clinicians.
Natasha has specific skills in treating all kinds of voices in both adult and paediatric clients including neurological voice conditions, transgender voice, performer’s voice and working closely with laryngologists in diagnostic stroboscopy clinics. As well as being passionate about all things voice, Natasha has established expertise in managing upper airway disorders such as chronic cough and vocal cord dysfunction and has worked closely with Respiratory physician colleagues. She also works as a Senior Lead Clinician at Barwon Health. Natasha enjoys working in the field of laryngology and thrives on bringing the best out of others and their voices!
