Emma has a strong background in language, having completed a Bachelor of Arts/Languages and being fluent in Italian and French. Her love of linguistics led her to study speech pathology and she acquired her Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University in 2012. Emma also has a history in singing and the performing arts having participated in many productions and choirs throughout her school life.
Emma’s first job as a speech pathologist was at Austin Health where she worked across the continuum of care, specialising in acute treatment of neurological patients, and subacute rehabilitation of swallowing and communication disorders. In 2016, we were fortunate to have Emma join us at Voice Medicine Australia as she brings an excellent skillset and is well loved for her warm and caring nature. Emma enjoys the variety of work in the field of speech pathology and particularly enjoys forming effective therapist-patient relationships.
After a stint focussing on becoming a mother for the second time, Emma is now back consulting both in East Melbourne and Frankston and we are thrilled to welcome her back to the team!
